Libby Kamrowski is a photojournalist and freelancer specializing in portraiture, sports, events and urban life based in Spokane, Washington.

I am an independent professional who always seeks opportunities and the beauty in the ordinary. Rarely out-hustled, my technical knowledge is balanced by curiosity and creating artistic but informative visual content.

I currently work full-time for The Spokesman-Review's photo department. Previously I worked professionally as an extended contract photographer for Visit Spokane, the official tourism firm in the area. Past roles include four years as an assistant photographer for the official marketing department of Gonzaga University and in Gonzaga Student Media (including as Editor-in-Chief and Photo Editor of the Gonzaga Bulletin). I have worked for numerous publications as both a writer, intern and photographer and have had work appear in The New York Times, Associated Press and Reuters.

Please email me ([email protected]) or DM my Instagram account (@libbykphotography) for freelance inquiries.

I book portrait sessions year-round, especially for high school/college seniors. Prices are flexible, but are usually around $150 per individual. Sessions include the public location of the client's choice (such as "university," "city streets," "park"), outfit changes, and one hour of photo editing once the photo session is complete. Bringing other guest subjects to the session will affect the price if they are present in the shoot for a prolonged period. Group photos are priced on a case-by-case basis. All photo sets are submitted via Dropbox. I accept cash, check and Venmo payments.

I welcome you to browse my work before choosing me as your photographer. Feel free to visit my Instagram @libbykphotography or my Medium blog, or submit questions to [email protected]. Enjoy!
